Saint Mark's "The Mystery of Golf" Outing

Although an early morning drizzle scared some golfers away, we still had more than ten and less than one hundred tee off for our final event of the season.  As a group, we shot at least one birdie despite seeing more than a few turkeys on the course.  We almost knocked down a couple of trees while successfully dislodging many leaves from their branches!  There were more found balls than lost and several snowmen were built along the way (at least on the scorecards)!  We strayed more than once off the beaten path and created many new paths while we strayed.  We ate at least one meal per person uring our time in the clubhouse.  Our outing format was quite forgiving as there were more golf skills contests than there were golfers!  The Mystery of Golf? ... The scorecards were purposely left behind at the clubhouse so our specific results will remain a mystery!  We celebrated the day by donating the entire prize money fund to Saint Mark's!
